About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Food & Beverage to oversee all food and beverage operations across the property. This executive leader will be responsible for driving financial performance, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team development while partnering closely with executive leadership and the culinary team.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality professional with luxury hotel experience, strong financial acumen, and a proven ability to lead multiple outlets, banquets, catering, and high-performing teams. This individual will play a critical role in elevating the property's food and beverage program while creating a culture centered on service, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets, catering, and in-room dining.
- Maintain full ownership of departmental P&L performance, including forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and monthly commentary.
- Partner closely with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership to ensure exceptional food quality, menu execution, and operational consistency.
- Lead outlet managers, culinary leadership, catering, banquet, stewarding, and service teams while fostering a culture of accountability and hospitality.
- Oversee labor management, scheduling, payroll compliance, staffing levels, and productivity across all departments.
- Drive guest satisfaction by maintaining luxury service standards and resolving guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotions, special events, and revenue-generating initiatives.
- Oversee catering and events operations from sales through execution while ensuring exceptional client experiences.
- Monitor inventory, purchasing, beverage programs, cost controls, and vendor relationships to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, safety, and liquor regulations while maintaining exceptional facility standards.
- Develop and implement training programs, succession planning, and employee development initiatives across the division.
- Identify operational efficiencies and continuously improve service standards, workflows, and guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience within luxury hotels or upscale hospitality environments.
- Previous Director of Food & Beverage experience strongly preferred.
- Experience overseeing multiple restaurant outlets, bars, banquets, catering, and special events.
- Strong financial background with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, labor management, food and beverage cost controls, and P&L management.
- Proven success building, mentoring, and developing high-performing hospitality teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of luxury guest service standards and operational best practices.
- Hospitality degree preferred.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred; Haitian Creole is a plus.
- Experience with hospitality technology platforms including Opera Cloud, Toast, Resy, Tripleseat, CVENT, ADP, Craftable, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $120,000 – $135,000
